Largest concrete pour celebrated in Bangkok

The developer responsible for the One Bangkok project in Thailand has claimed the biggest continuous concrete pour ever in Southeast Asia while building one of the office towers on the US$.7 billion development.

During the mammoth concrete our, 547 trucks delivered 23,725 cubic meters of concrete over 33.25 hours to make the 4.5-meter-deep raft foundation reinforced by 2,200 tons of concrete in February.

Concrete Products and Aggregate Co., Ltd., with partners KCS & Associates Co., Ltd., Stonehenge Inter Plc, and Italian-Thai Development Corporation Ltd. were the contractors responsible for the pour, using a low-heat mix with a compressive strength of 600-kilograms per square centimeter.

Jointly developed by TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Frasers Property Holdings Thailand, One Bangkok is described as “the largest private sector property development in Thailand’s history”.
