LG Electronics, a renowned leader in technological innovation, has introduced its cutting-edge VRF Multi V i air conditioning system integrated with advanced AI technology, specifically designed for the Cambodian, Thai, and Lao markets. The grand unveiling took place on 23 June 2023 in Bangkok, marking a significant advancement in the field of cooling solutions.

Distributed exclusively by GGEAR Group, the VRF Multi V i 2023 is set to revolutionize the air conditioning landscape in Cambodia. This state-of-the-art system offers unparalleled space-saving capabilities, enabling multiple air conditioners to be connected to a single unit, simplifying installation and repair procedures.

The highly anticipated launch event witnessed the presence of esteemed executives from GGEAR Group, commemorating the collaborative efforts in bringing LG Electronics’ latest technological marvel to the Cambodian market. Hor Hab, Chief Business Officer of GGEAR Group, expressed enthusiasm over the introduction of LG Multi V i to Cambodia, highlighting its suitability for high-end buildings such as offices, schools, supermarkets, commercial establishments, apartments, and hotels. Boasting unique smart features that optimize power consumption and deliver comfort in any setting, the LG Multi V i is set to cater to the diverse needs of Cambodian customers.

Leveraging intelligent technology, the system automatically shuts off when the room is unoccupied, resulting in energy savings of up to 24.7 per cent. Additionally, the system incorporates humidity and temperature control, while an integrated air purifier enhances indoor air quality.

“In a typical building, air conditioning consumes more than 50% of the total operating expense. However, LG’s latest AI air conditioner technology helps to reduce power consumption. On the other hand, it helps people to live comfortably because it has a humidity and temperature control system; in addition, it is also equipped with an air purifier in this system.” Huot Ratana said.

Innovative: The new LG Multi V i air conditioning system represents the pinnacle of Intelligent, Innovative, and Interactive design. With its intelligent functionality, the system detects human presence and adjusts settings accordingly, ensuring personalized comfort and energy efficiency. The innovative features include rust-resistant components capable of withstanding scorching temperatures of up to 52°C, reduced noise levels by 2.6 decibels, and a 12% power increase compared to previous models.

Interactive: The interactive aspect encompasses a low noise reduction function of up to 50 decibels, AI Smart Diagnosis for seamless maintenance, and a built-in black box storing up to six months’ worth of operational information.

Having garnered recognition and accolades, LG’s Multi V i air conditioning system has been honored by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) for its outstanding quality, operation, and technological advancements.
