MPWT Institute Partners with CLA to Strengthen Cambodia Logistics & Transport Sector

The Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport (MPWT Institute) and the Cambodian Logistics Association (CLA) have inked a partnership deal to strengthen the quality of students and solve the shortage of technical experts in Cambodia.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two parties on Thursday 23 September 2021.

Under this cooperation, the two parties will jointly organise short, medium and long training courses on logistics and related skills, as well as co-develop new curriculum seminars, conferences, meetings, study visits, internships, among other programs.

According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Cambodia is in high need of technical experts in the field of transportation and logistics. Thus, this cooperation would help fulfil shortages with highly qualified students.

Earlier this month, the Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport also inked another partnership deal with RMA Cambodia Plc, a company specialising in automotive, construction technic, and heavy engineering equipment, to strengthen the technical skills of students.

Besides these MoUs, the institute has also signed MoUs with other partners such as the Institute of Technology of Cambodia and the Zhejiang Institute of Communication of China.

In the future, the institute is also planning to sign an MoU with the Royal School of Administration, PPD Company, Chang An University of China, among other partners.
