Archetype Cambodia, a premier architectural and engineering consultancy, has earned the prestigious LEED Green Building Rating System Certification, achieving Gold status under the v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Interiors rating system. This accolade underscores the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and sustainability leading in greenifying Cambodian construction industry.

Founded in 2003, Archetype Cambodia has been a trailblazer in sustainable construction consultancy, delivering designs that meet international standards while adhering to local regulations. With over 80 employees in Cambodia, the firm has completed more than 140 projects across industrial, real estate, and hospitality sectors, earning a reputation for innovation and contributing to iconic developments in the country.

Archetype Cambodia recently achieved LEED Gold certification with an impressive 72 points under the v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Interiors rating system. The LEED certification process was spearheaded by Tran Huu Anh Tuan, Green Design Manager of Archetype Group. He highlighted the company’s comprehensive approach to sustainability, which included conducting an energy audit to optimize building system efficiency and an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) audit to ensure a healthy and comfortable environment for staff and visitors. Additionally, robust solid waste management and recycling initiatives were implemented to minimize waste and promote a circular economy.

Tran Huu Anh Tuan emphasized: “We focused on empowering our colleagues and partners with the knowledge and tools to reduce energy and water consumption. Policies were adopted to promote green cleaning practices and the use of environmental products, further reducing our company’s environmental footprint.”
