Seequent Set to Showcase AI-Driven Geoscience Breakthroughs at PDAC 2026

Seequent, the Bentley Subsurface Company, has announced its return to the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention from March 1 to 4, 2026.

As a global leader in mining software, the company plans to demonstrate how its latest innovations in artificial intelligence and cloud computing are fundamentally altering the landscape of mineral exploration.

A primary focus of this year’s exhibition is the one-year milestone of Seequent Evo, an open geoscience platform designed to provide the foundation for AI-ready exploration.

By combining machine learning with cloud-enabled workflows, Seequent aims to help geoscientists accelerate the discovery process while significantly reducing the inherent risks and costs of subsurface decision-making.

The convention will feature a major collaborative event on Sunday, March 1, highlighting the partnership between Seequent and Orica Digital Solutions, an integrated workflow between Axis Connect and Leapfrog Geo.

This integration is designed to bridge the traditional gap between geologists and drillers, allowing for a seamless transfer of data that translates geological intelligence directly into drilling execution.

Further exploration of AI’s role in the industry will take place on Monday, March 2. The company will also host its annual “FrogTalk” session on Tuesday to reveal the latest desktop and cloud updates for Leapfrog Geo.

Beyond software demonstrations, Seequent is emphasizing its commitment to the future of the industry by sponsoring the Frank Arnott – Next Generation Explorers Award. This international competition allows university teams to showcase their interpretation of complex exploration datasets to a global audience.

There will also be discussions on how these data-driven insights support the global energy transition and the sustainable development of critical mineral supply chains.

Attendees are also invited to participate in the Seequent Drillhole Planning Contest, a hands-on challenge to design an efficient drillhole within Leapfrog Geo.
