SHV’s Third Large-Scale Water Treatment Plant 50% Complete

As of today, the construction of the third large-scale water treatment in Sangkat 4 in Sihanoukville is 50% complete, according to Sihanoukville Provincial Administration on 02 June 2022.

The construction has been divided into two phases: the first phase is field construction, which finishes before Khmer New Year in 2023.

The second phase is the construction of the mechanical system, which will continue for more than 3 to 4 months, with the technical system testing to be completed.

Sihanoukville Provincial Administration has broken ground on this US$20 million third large-scale water treatment on 17 September 2022, which can filter wastewater in the amount of 20,000 cubic meters per day. (Read more)
