Construction of Techo Peace Hospital Over 80% Complete

The construction of the Techo Peace Hospital is more than 80% complete and is scheduled for completion in June 2023, according to site inspection by Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen on 19 January.  

Equipped with modern facilities and tools, the hospital will be specialised in treating cancer patients, especially women, said PM Hun Sen. 

“Also, if COVID-19 recurred, we must have a large hospital for the long-term goal of examining and treating people,” he added. 

Techo Peace Hospital will be the largest hospital in Cambodia with a capacity of more than 10,000 beds, which is 10 times that of the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. 

The hospital is being built on an area of 7 hectares in Kob Srov Thom village, Sangkat Kork Roka, Khan Prek Pnov. Construction began in February 2022. (Read more)
