The Media Night, held on 6 December 2023 at the ISI Tower, marked a momentous occasion attended by industry leaders, stakeholders, and media representatives. The Media Night event was attended by Mr Leng Kang, CEO of ISI Group, Mr Hok Kang, Co-founder and CEO of Urbanland, distinguished industry leaders, key stakeholders, and partners of ISI Group and Urbanland, as well as members of the media, to reveal exciting upcoming developments in ISI Park Veng Sreng and insights into the future of the Veng Sreng area. The event not only showcased the park’s groundbreaking initiatives but also celebrated the resounding success of K Mall in its impactful second year of operation.

ISI Park Veng Sreng, nestling on what was once expansive rice fields, bears witness to the visionary journey of ISI Group’s founders, evolving from the iconic “Blue-Roof” dormitories and factory buildings into a vibrant industrial park. Following Urbanland’s strategic master plan, the hub is evolving from an industrial zone into a premier destination, featuring modern infrastructure and facilities. The first phase boasts landmarks such as the iconic ISI Tower, the dynamic K Mall, shophouses, and the newly-introduced AIA stadium housing the Cambodian Premier League team, ISI Dangkor Senchey FC.

“ISI Group’s journey started over 25 years ago when our founders, Oknha Kang Meng Huy, and Lok Chumteav Khun Heang, opened International Steel Industrial, the company you know as ISI Steel today,” said Mr Kang Leng, ISI Group CEO and Chairman.

“ISI Park has been an important part of our journey and is an insight into the direction of urban development in Cambodia. We believe that continuing to revitalize this area will facilitate sustainable growth, attract more investment and improve the quality of life in the surrounding communities,” added the CEO.

The completed first phase has not only revitalized the physical environment but also fostered a sense of community, validating the positive impact of purposeful urban development.

As ISI Park Veng Sreng embarks on its second phase, the introduction of the Chankiri Shophouse promises to further expand business and investment opportunities. The visionary expansion also envisions future additions of educational, medical, and other facilities to complement existing offerings, reinforcing ISI Park’s commitment to holistic development.

Urbanland, in tandem with the ISI Group, celebrated the 2nd anniversary of K Mall, expressing gratitude to its 36 tenants who played a pivotal role in making it a cherished community space.  K Mall has become a cherished community space for over 500,000 residents living in more than 20 Borey communities in the area, offering not only daily necessities but also a place for friends and families to socialize, relax, and enjoy entertainment in a green oasis within the city.
