Urban Village wins award for ‘Best Condo Development’ in Asia from PropertyGuru

Urban Village by Urban Hub (Cambodia) Co.,Ltd has been the only Cambodia applicant to win one of Asia’s longest-running and most respected real estate awards, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

Held at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok in Thailand, the 14th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards represented major winning titleholders and included the award for ‘Best Condo Development’ in Asia for Urban Village for its achievement.

Urban Village is a 19-storey condominium which is designed in a tropical green with cool concrete that creates a welcoming environment along 60-metre Road in Phnom Penh. The condo sits next to the Factory Phnom Penh, a mixed-use IT and creative hub by Urban Hub which features a green space, co-working space, food and shopping, and more.

During the Cambodia Property Awards 2019 which was held in May, Urban Village also went home with many awards in different categories during the gala dinner held in Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.

For its 14th anniversary, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards expanded the Grand Final to 30 categories, specifying more precise achievements in landscape architectural design, condo interior design, township master planning, CBD (central business district) development, and green building.

Hari V. Krishnan, CEO of PropertyGuru Group, said in the press release: “We run PropertyGuru as a values-based organisation and one core value which inspires us is to create what’s next. Nothing gives us more pride than honouring the projects and property stakeholders that push for excellence.”

Prior to the Grand Final, the event series had presented more than 330 awards and gathered more than 3,220 guests across eight gala dinners and other award ceremonies in various Asian cities this year.

Winning entries of the 14th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final were chosen by an independent jury comprising head judges of participating markets.
