US$100 million Housing Development Project Launched in Sihanoukville

The US$100-million Lorn City Lotus Sea housing development project will be soon built on over 66 hectares of land in Prey Nop district of Sihanoukville, after sales were launched on 22 February.

The launch ceremony was presided over by Sihanoukville Governor HE Kouch Chamroeun and Senator HE Neak Oknha Ly Yong Phat, along with hundreds of participants.

Located in Bit Trang commune of Prey Nup district, the project consists of shophouses, flats, villas, and other infrastructure such as schools, parks, gas stations, restaurants, and gyms, among other facilities.

HE Kouch Chamroeun said during the ceremony that despite the COVID-19 crisis, investment in the real estate and construction sector in Sihanoukville and in the kingdom as the whole remain robust.

Sihanoukville is a coastal province with rapid development in all areas, especially the infrastructure sector in recent years. The 34-road renovation project will open for the public by April, while the 11-road renovation project is more than 31% complete. There are also many other ongoing projects such as the airport expansion, deep-sea port expansion, expressway, water treatment plant, and so on. (Read more)
