VINCI Airports Unveils Ambitious Plan for New Terminal at Sihanoukville International Airport

VINCI Airports, the renowned French airport developer with a robust footprint in Cambodian International Airports, has announced plans for the construction of a cutting-edge terminal at Sihanoukville International Airport. The revelation came during a courtesy call on 1 February where Mr Emmanuel Menanteau, Regional Director of VINCI Airports, presented the ambitious project to HE Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister, and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The proposed terminal, slated for completion in 2026, is poised to redefine the airport experience in Sihanoukville. VINCI Airports, leveraging its 25 years of expertise in Cambodian airport projects, envisions this development as a significant addition to its current portfolio, which includes operations at Phnom Penh International Airport and Siem Reap International Airport.

During the meeting, Mr Emmanuel Menanteau sought a recommendation from Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, underlining VINCI Airports’ commitment to transparent and collaborative engagement with Cambodian authorities.
