3 Things That Will Change the Future of Infrastructure

Bentley Systems has revealed that AI, digital twins, and data-driven technologies are transforming how infrastructure is planned, built, and maintained as governments face growing climate challenges and aging assets.

The company highlights how its digital twin, AI, collaborative modeling, and subsurface modeling technologies allow engineers to test designs, improve collaboration, monitor infrastructure in real time, and predict maintenance needs before failures occur.

These capabilities help create safer, more resilient, and more efficient infrastructure while reducing costs and improving long-term asset management.

Bentley also showcased the French city of Pau, where a city-wide digital twin helped residents visualize development projects and support smarter urban planning.

The company says combining AI, open data, and digital twins will play a key role in building more sustainable and resilient infrastructure worldwide.
