6,000-Metre Avenue in Kep National Park Officially Inaugurated

A 6,000-meter-long concrete avenue named “Bopha Prasidh Avenue” around the Kep National Park has been officially inaugurated, which will serve the tourism sector in Kep province.

The inauguration ceremony was held on 4 May in the presence of HE Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment, HE Cham Nimol, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, HE Som Piseth, Governor of Kep Province, and the participation of the people and students, with a total of 440 people.

HE Say Samal, Minister of Environment, said that the 6,000-metre-long concrete avenue will be a tourist attraction for pedestrians or tourists using small vehicles and motorcycles only, but tourists can come to enjoy the natural air and scenery of green plants in the park.

The minister hopes that the national park will be transformed with the integration of tourism, the provincial economy, and another addition to help the people’s economy.

Kep National Park is a national park in Cambodia’s Kep province that was established in 1993 and covers an area of 66.64 km². The park includes a small mountain range with tracks and trails which are popular with tourists.
