Enhancing Connectivity: Srey Santhor District Welcomes 9 State-of-the-Art Concrete Bridges Worth US$6 Million

The Kampong Cham Provincial Administration proudly inaugurated a remarkable infrastructure achievement, as nine meticulously constructed concrete bridges along NR 70B in Srey Santhor District, Kampong Cham Province, were officially unveiled.

This momentous occasion, held during the inauguration ceremony on 17th May 2023, marks a significant milestone in bolstering the district’s connectivity and enhancing the lives of its residents.

The strategically positioned concrete bridges span across five communes within the Srey Santhor district, namely Phteah Kandal, Prek Dambok, Svay Khsach Phnom, Russey Srok, and Prek Romdeng. These vital arteries, encompassing a total length of 21 kilometers along NR No. 70B, now serve as essential conduits for seamless transportation and improved access within the region.

The construction of these cutting-edge concrete bridges was made possible through a generous donation of over US$6 million by Samdech  Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipritthbandit, with unwavering support from the esteemed Peng Huoth Group. This remarkable philanthropic endeavor demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the welfare and prosperity of the people of Srey Santhor district.
