Government Planning to Build National Police Museum

Minister of Interior Samdech Sar Kheng is planning to build a National Police Museum as a legacy for police officers and as a venue for welcoming international delegations.

Samdech Sar Kheng said on 27 July that police officers have been working very hard not only to maintain order and security but also to protect the nation. That is why we have to build this museum and to leave it as a legacy for the next generation.

“However, we might not be able to build it within the Police Academy area as the land size is too small. We need to have at least 1 hectare of land. We are currently looking for a suitable location, maybe a little far from the city,” he added.

Upon completion, the National Police Museum will be used to host various events and welcome foreign delegations from various countries
