SHV’s Third Large-Scale Water Treatment Station Project Ongoing

The plan to construct the third large-scale water treatment station in Sihanoukville is moving forward as Village 4 in Sangkat 4 has been chosen as the location for the project.

Sihanoukville Governor HE Kuoch Chamroeun said on Wednesday 21 July during a site inspection that the relevant officials are speeding up the study, hoping that the construction can begin soon.

“The reason for building one more station on top of two others is to respond to the growth of commercial and tourism activities in the province,” said HE Kuoch Chamroeun.

According to the National Committee for Coastal Management and Development released on 22 July, the construction of the first wastewater treatment plant in Sihanoukville is 98% complete, while the second one is 100% complete.
