10 Major Roads and 6 bridges Inaugurated to Serve Public in Last Four Years, says MPWT

At least 10 major roads and 6 bridges have been completed and inaugurated to benefit the public during the last four years, with many other infrastructure projects still under construction.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) showed the progress and achievements during a Facebook live show held on Monday30 August by Minister HE Sun Chanthol as the honorable speaker.

Among roads put into usage, the major ones include NR1, NR6 and NR6A, NR55, NR58, PR1577, and Ring Road 2.

Meanwhile, the major bridges are Sen Sok Cambodia-China Friendship Flyover Bridge, Stung Bot-Banong Ien Cambodia-Thailand Friendship Bridge, and the renovation of the Cambodia-Japan friendship bridge –Chroy Chongvar Bridge 1.

Besides the efforts of building more infrastructure, the ministry has also paid attention to strengthening the quality of the construction by regularly inspecting the sites to ensure that all works follow technical standards.
