Construction of NR146B & NR148 Connecting Prey Nop to SHV Port 85% Complete

The project to upgrade NR146B (Samdech Sangkhareach Tep Vong Road) and NR148 are 85% complete as of 27 March 2022.

The progress was unveiled during a site inspection by HE Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport, on Tuesday 28 March 2022.

NR146B and NR148 have a total length of 43km, starting from the intersection of NR4 at Km178 + 165 in Veal Renh commune, Prey Nob district, to Stueng Hav roundabout, and to the deep seaport of Sihanoukville.

The two roads were built by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) using the Cambodian government budget.

The construction started in April 2020 and is scheduled for completion in August 2022, taking 28 months in total.

These two roads are city bypasses to reduce traffic on NR4 and for transporting goods in and out of ships in Stung Hav district to the market in the city.
