Chinese-Funded National Road 41 Expansion Underway Soon

China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) has been awarded the right to build the National Road 41 expansion connecting National Road 4 and Kampot province.

According to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Kampong Speu Province, the rehabilitation of National Road 41 is being implemented through cooperation and financing from the People’s Republic of China.

Due to the damage on National Road 41, CRBC will soon make repairs to temporarily facilitate traffic across the damaged section of the road, the Public Works Department said.

The provincial public works department confirmed that CRBC will break ground on the construction at an appropriate time.

This project was officially announced by the Chinese Embassy together with another two National Road during official opening the National Road 3 in March 2022 (read more)
