Booyoung Group to provide 60 buses to Sihanoukville for city bus project

Korean company Booyoung Group plans to provide 60 buses to the Sihanoukville provincial administration for the City Bus project by 2024.

The agreement between the parties is expected to be signed soon, according to SHV Governor Kouch Chamroeun on 15 February.

“Recently, I was told by PM Samdech Hun Sen that Booyoung Group will deliver 60 buses to Sihanoukville. Now we are preparing the procedure,” said HE Chamroeun.

“We are expected to receive those buses within a year. The provincial administration will be the one who manages them, similar to the one in Phnom Penh, he added.

The project will help ease the commute of students in remote areas to schools in the city, tourists, and general citizens.
