Construction of NR48 22% Complete

As of February 23, the project to rehabilitate and upgrade NR48 connecting Chamkar Luong at the junction of NR4 to Khemarak Phoumin City of Koh Kong Province has been 22% completed, according to MPWT Minister HE Sun Chanthol on 23 February.

During the site inspection, HE Chanthol said that the progress is a bit slower than planned due to some challenges such as weather problems, COVID-19, and the disruption supply chain of machinery and materials.

The construction of this project began in January 2022 with an estimated cost of US$78 million, via a concessional loan from the Government of the Republic of Korea.  (Read more)
