Over 700km on 41 Roads Built in Takeo Over Past Five Years

Over the past five years, Takeo province has witnessed the construction of 41 national and provincial roads, spanning more than 722.47 km, according to HE Ouch Phea, Governor of Takeo province.

Speaking at a press conference on “Success in 5 years” on 2 March 2023, HE Ouch Phea highlighted the province’s infrastructure developments, including six national roads: National Road 2, 3, 22, 23, 31, and 41, respectively, with a total length of 166.72km.

The province also built 35 provincial roads and rubber roads, covering 555.64km, including 328.94km of paved roads, 22.41km of concrete roads, and 204 stone-paved roads, measuring 92 km, with the railway crossing stretching 56.38km.

Additionally, 282 rural roads were built, with a total length of 812.11km, including the repair of seven roads measuring 64.09km in length.

Takeo province boasts eight completed bridges and four landfills. Notably, the construction project of National Road No. 2, spanning 42.96km, and National Road No. 22, from O Chambok to Ang Ta Som, with a length of 9.61km, is set to be completed in 2023.

The province’s infrastructure developments aim to improve connectivity and transportation systems, promoting economic growth and attracting potential real estate investments in the area.
