Over 1,000km of Roads Built in Pursat in Last Five Years

Pursat province has achieved a significant milestone in infrastructure development, having constructed over 1,000 km of national, provincial, and rural roads. According to HE Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat province, a total of 55 roads have been built with a combined length of 1,098.29km.

Out of these, the provincial administration has constructed a 86.3km national level road and 306.47km four second level roads with a length of more than 304.47km. The remaining 50 provincial roads total 707.57km and feature 169 bridges with a combined length of 4.39km.

Pursat’s road network also includes several town roads, rubber paved roads, and drainages, amounting to 57.10km, 36.52km, and 108.80km, respectively.

In addition, 421 rural roads have been built, spanning over 901km, including 15 rubber roads, 83 red gravel roads, and 323 chalk lines with lengths of 279km, 312.50km, and 310.95km, respectively.

The impressive progress in Pursat’s road infrastructure is a testament to the province’s dedication to improving the quality of life of its citizens and promoting economic growth. These newly built roads are expected to facilitate better transportation, enhance accessibility to public services, and boost economic activities in the region.
