Stueng Treng province has achieved significant infrastructure development over the last five years, with over 200 kilometers of provincial roads and more than 200 kilometers of border belt roads built. The construction of these roads has led to improved living standards and greater access to services for local communities.

According to HE Svay Sam Eang, Governor of Stung Treng Province, the provincial administration has used the provincial budget to construct a total of 31 km of rubber roads, 6 km of concrete roads, and 119 km of red gravel roads. The province has also received support from the provincial Public Work and Transportation Department for the construction of an additional 23.12 km of rubber roads and 22 km of concrete roads.

In addition to road construction, the provincial authorities have built 8 major bridges, 17 concrete bridges spanning 656 meters, and 53 box drains and 765 road drains, further enhancing the province’s infrastructure.

Speaking at a press conference on April 24, 2023, Governor Svay Sam Eang emphasized the significance of these infrastructure projects for the province’s development, stating, “This infrastructure development has contributed to the improvement, civilization, and living standard of local people.”

Furthermore, Stueng Treng province has completed the construction of over 200 km of border belt roads, which have played a crucial role in enhancing the province’s connectivity and trade links with neighboring countries.
