State-of-the-Art Ministry of Interior Building Nearing Completion, Set to Redefine Government Infrastructure

In a momentous development, the construction of the Ministry of Interior’s new office building is swiftly nearing its completion, with the final touches expected to be concluded in July. The update on the construction progress was shared during Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng’s inspection of the site on 17 May 2023, revealing an exciting milestone in Cambodia’s architectural landscape.

Strategically located along the illustrious Norodom Street in Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh, the new office building will be a testament to modernity and functionality, providing an ideal working environment for the Ministry of Interior.

Notably, construction activities for this exceptional edifice commenced on 11 November 2021, with a visionary plan encompassing a towering 9-floor structure sprawling across an impressive area of 105,545 square meters. This ambitious undertaking is made possible by a direct budget allocation of $60 million from the Ministry of Interior, exemplifying the government’s commitment to advancing infrastructure development.  (Read more)
