MPWT to Propose 6 Billion Riels to Renovate NR76 Connecting Snoul District to Mondulkiri

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) is set to propose a budget of 6 billion Riels to the Ministry of Economy and Finance in 2024. This funding will facilitate the comprehensive renovation and upgrade of NR76, stretching from Snuol district, Kratie province to Mondulkiri province, heralding a new era of connectivity and accessibility for the region.

During his recent inspection of the section of NR76 that succumbed to damage (PK 94 + 080 to PK 94 + 150) in Andong village, Kraloeng, Sen Monorom commune, Oreang district, Mondulkiri province on 8 August 2023, HE Sun Chanthol, Minister of MPWT revealed this plan and underscored the ministry’s commitment to facilitating seamless travel for all.
