Koh Pich-Koh Norea Bridge Nears Completion: Connection Set for 10 September with Milestone 92% Achieved

The cable-stayed concrete bridge, seamlessly linking Koh Pich and Koh Norea, is set to achieve a significant feat on 10 September 2023, with completion progress reaching an impressive 92%. This significant update was shared by HE Keut Chhe, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh, on 31 August 2023.

Amidst this fervent anticipation, HE Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh, will take the helm during the ceremonious connection of this innovative cable-stayed concrete bridge. The bridge is not merely a physical connection but a testament to the city’s vision of fostering seamless accessibility between its diverse locales.

The Koh Pich-Koh Norea Bridge, an ambitious project situated in Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, bears testament to Cambodia’s resolute commitment to progressive infrastructure. With an investment of US$38 million, this bridge is the brainchild of the Overseas Cambodian Investment Company (OCIC), executed under the adept guidance of the Phnom Penh Capital Administration.
