Coastal City Development Group Unveils Ambitious Plans for State-of-the-Art Theme Park in Koh Kong Province

Coastal City Development Group Co., LTD has announced its intention to invest in a cutting-edge theme park situated in the idyllic locale of Koh Sdach commune, Kirisakor district, Koh Kong province. The proposal, disclosed through an official statement on the Facebook page of Mr Ouk Pheaktra, Deputy Governor of Koh Kong Province on 8 February 2024, is currently undergoing thorough evaluation by an inter-ministerial working group led by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

During an on-site inspection of the proposed investment location, the deputy governor emphasized key considerations for the project’s success. These encompass:

  1. Compliance with CDC:
    • Ensure adherence to the Council for the Development of Cambodia’s conditions and procedures when obtaining initial approval for the modern theme park investment.
  2. Collaboration with Local Authorities:
    • Work closely with district and commune authorities to promptly address any issues that may arise during the project.
  3. Visitor Safety Measures:
    • Establish a robust security system to ensure the safety of visitors and prevent potential dangers.
  4. Local Development Support:
    • Contribute to local development by actively engaging in the recruitment and utilization of existing resources in Koh Kong province.
  5. Environmental Protection:
    • Implement a comprehensive system to monitor and control air pollution, water quality, and hazardous waste within the project area.
  6. Environmental Maintenance:
    • Participate in efforts to maintain clean, environmentally friendly, and green surroundings near the investment site.

This ambitious venture comes on the heels of Koh Kong province’s ongoing transformation, with a concurrent investment project earmarked for the establishment of a sprawling 180-hectare special economic zone in Chroy Svay commune, Sre Ambel district. (Read more)
