Singapore Firm Reaffirms Investment Plans in Cambodia’s Logistics Sector

YCH Group, a leading logistics firm based in Singapore, has confirmed its commitment to invest in Cambodia’s connectivity infrastructure, particularly in the logistics sector. This announcement followed a productive meeting between Mr. Robert Yap, Chairman of YCH Group, and Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen.

During the meeting, Mr. Yap expressed enthusiasm for the numerous opportunities available in Cambodia, highlighting the company’s focus on enhancing connected infrastructure, which includes transportation and logistics services.

Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed YCH Group’s investment intentions, emphasizing the Royal Government’s dedication to developing essential infrastructure that supports the logistics and transport sectors. Key projects under consideration include improvements to the International Airport, Deep Sea Port, expressways, and the overall quality of rail and road networks.

Additionally, it was noted that YCH Group, in collaboration with WorldBridge Group, plans to establish Cambodia’s first world-class logistics centre, a significant step in advancing its logistics capabilities. (Read more)
