NR 41 Completion Marks Milestone in Cambodian Transportation

NR 41, a vital addition to Cambodia’s infrastructure, has officially been completed with a total investment exceeding USD 67 million. Stretching over 95 kilometers, the road links NR 4 in Kandal to NR 3 in Kampot, dramatically enhancing regional connectivity and bolstering travel and trade.

The announcement came following a detailed inspection led by HE Sui San, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and representatives from the China Road and Bridge Corporation.

The newly constructed road introduces a suite of safety upgrades, including clearly marked road signs and diagrams, ensuring the highest standards of traffic management. The project was financed through a concessional loan from the Chinese government, highlighting a robust partnership between Cambodia and international collaborators. Ground was broken on construction on 26 December 2022. (Read more)
