Global Hospitality Firm, Banyan Group, Sets Ambitious 2024 Entry into to Cambodian Market

Banyan Group, a hospitality juggernaut managing 12 global brands, has unveiled its monumental expansion plans for 2024, reinforcing its commitment to diverse and unparalleled luxury experiences across 22 countries, according to Travelbizmonitor on 13 January 2024.

In an audacious move, Banyan Group is set to introduce 19 new properties and residences in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Mexico. The debut of Angsana Siem Reap in Cambodia marks the group’s entry into this vibrant market. At the same time, Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto in Japan adds a new dimension to its global footprint.

Pioneering Sustainability, A 2030 Roadmap Unveiled: In 2024, Banyan Group is aligning with United Nations Climate Science-based Targets, charting a comprehensive 2030 Sustainability Roadmap. This initiative encompasses environmental and human capital development, staying true to its founding ethos of “Embracing the Environment, Empowering People.” A circularity pilot project underscores the brand’s commitment to advancing regenerative practices in the hospitality industry.

Embarking on its most ambitious nature-integrated development, Banyan Group introduces Laguna Lakelands in Phuket. Spanning 110 hectares, this immersive project features a Rainforest park, over 10km of treetop skywalks, and six distinct zones, heralding a new era of immersive living.
