Almondz Global Infra-consultants Limited is helping transform city-scale digital twin development across India through the Government of Gujarat’s Project NAKSHA.

Using Bentley’s iTwin Capture, the company created highly accurate digital twins by processing more than 100 terabytes of drone, LiDAR, and geospatial data, including over 500,000 images.

The project supports smarter urban planning, disaster management, and property assessment, while setting a new benchmark for large-scale geospatial data management in India.

Using iTwin Capture, Almondz streamlined reality modeling by integrating drone imagery and LiDAR data into a single digital workflow.

The solution reduced 3D mesh reconstruction time by 40%, saved nearly 1,800 work hours, cut manual LiDAR editing by 30%, and lowered project rework by more than 35%, resulting in 12%–14% production cost savings and 50% overall workflow savings.

The completed digital twins provide municipalities with a reliable digital foundation for flood modeling, utility planning, and sustainable development.

Early estimates also indicate the project could increase municipal revenue by 10%–15% through more accurate property tax assessments, setting a new benchmark for city-scale geospatial data management in India.
