Infrastructure software giant Bentley Systems has officially opened a multimillion-dollar applied AI tech hub in Québec City, marking its first major facility dedicated to bringing artificial intelligence to global infrastructure engineering.

The new technology hub serves as a critical laboratory where software and AI teams collaborate directly with regional engineering partners. Bentley Systems develops advanced software used by infrastructure professionals to design, build, and maintain essential public works, including roads, bridges, and energy grids.

By integrating applied AI into these software tools, Bentley aims to significantly increase engineering productivity and efficiency. Tapping into the city’s deep pool of engineering and tech talent, the strategic expansion is set to create 50 high-value jobs over the next three years.
