S.Korean Booyoung Group Donates 200 Buses for Phnom Penh Public Transport

The South Korean BOOYOUNG GROUP has donated a total of 200 public buses to Phnom Penh Capital Hall to improve the city’s public transport.

The official handover ceremony was held on 28 February under the presidency of Phnom Penh Governor HE Khuong Sreng, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Cambodia HE Park Jung Wook, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bouyong Group Dr Lee Joong Keun.

The Korean company signed an MoU to deliver 200 buses to Phnom Penh Capital Hall in September as Booyoung Group also plans to provide 60 buses to the Sihanoukville provincial administration as well. (​Read More)

The Phnom Penh administration has received nearly 200 buses from Japan and China to improve public transport services in the city. According to the Autonomous Public Transport Authority, recently 13 bus routes have been launched in the city.
