Cambodia Attracts Almost US$3 billion in Investment Projects in H1 2022

The Council for the Development of Cambodia has approved new investment projects and production expansion projects with a total investment of US$2,998 billion, an increase of 23.4% over the same period last year.

According to the report of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, of all the new investment projects, domestic investments ranked first, accounting for more than 53% or​US$1,595 million of the total investment.

According to the data, Chinese investment accounted for 43.02% or US$1.28 billion of total investment in the first half, ahead of investment from Thailand, Samoa, Britain, Virgin Islands, Korea, Singapore, Cayman Islands, and Malaysia, Japan, and Australia.
