Renaissance Minerals’s Gold Refinery in Mondulkiri Yields Over US$10 Million, Spearheading Cambodia’s Prosperous Gold Industry

In a remarkable feat,  Renaissance Minerals (Cambodia) Limited, a prominent gold refiner with a 90% purity rate, has recorded a prodigious production of 6,727.70 kilograms of refined gold, translating into a substantial revenue of US$10,228,239.

These impressive figures were revealed during the auspicious visit to the business sites and gold refineries in the O’Khvav area of Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province, graced by the esteemed presence of Samdech Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection.

Renaissance Minerals (Cambodia) Limited inaugurated its state-of-the-art gold mine and refinery on 21st June 2021, marking almost two years of continuous operation. With a significant investment of approximately USD 120 million, the company has solidified its position as a pivotal player in Cambodia’s burgeoning gold industry. (Read more)

The business site and gold refinery boast an impressive capacity to extract nearly 2 million tons of crude ore annually, resulting in an estimated yield of around 90 tons of gold (Gold Doré Bars) per year over an initial period of 8 years.

This lucrative gold mining project has provided gainful employment to a total of 434 individuals, comprising 347 Cambodian workers (including 61 females) and 87 foreign employees (including 3 females).

Renaissance Minerals (Cambodia) Limited, an Australian company, has been granted the rights by the Cambodian government to undertake gold mining operations in the coveted O’Khvav area of Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province.
