Cambodia, S. Korea vow to Develop Green Building Program to Promote Carbon Neutrality by 2050

Cambodia’s Ministry of Environment and ​​​South Korea’s the Institute of Civil Engineering and Construction Technology have pledged to strengthen cooperation on bilateral green building programs, aiming to promote carbon neutrality by 2050. 

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Environment on 15 December, both parties also discussed the plan to continue and explore the possibility of further cooperation on other clean energy developments. 

To work on this matter, the Ministry of Environment has already completed the draft guidelines and certification of green buildings. The ministry has so thus far provided training to all stakeholders, especially in the construction sector.
