CDC Licenses Another Investment After Over 12 Approved in First 2 Months of 2021

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has officially given the permit to a private firm to develop another factory in Kandal province, after over a dozen of projects worth more than US$700 million have been approved in just the two months of 2021.

The investment permit this time has been granted to Jiangyao (Cambodia) Garments Co., Ltd, with the firm investing US$2.1 million to build a garment factory in Kandal Province.

According to the CDC, the investment project will create more than 2,600 jobs for Cambodians.

As of the end of February, the CDC has already approved at least 15 major projects in 2021 including this one, with a total investment of more than US$700 million. (Read more, more, and more)
