Construction of New 14-Storey Information Ministry Building Nearly 90% Complete

Construction of the new 14-storey building of the Ministry of Information is nearly 90% complete and is set for full completion soon, according to the site inspection by Minister of Information HE Khieu Kanharith on 1 July 2022.

Located inside the Ministry of Information along Monivong Blvd., this new building has 14 floors, is 65 metres tall, and 14 metres wide.

The new building includes the General Department of AKP, General Department of Information and Audiovisual, a large meeting room, small meeting rooms, and more than 300 office rooms.

Construction started on 04 December 2019 and is currently being implemented by Khun Sear Development Group and the Chinese firm BELLETONE, taking 24 months to complete.

According to the construction supervisor, construction is nearly 90% complete and scheduled to be completed soon.
