Yang Ming first shipping company to launch direct route from China to Vietnam and Cambodia

Yang Ming Marine Transportation Corporation, a Taiwanese ocean shipping company announced in a press release saying that it will soon have a shipping route service directly from China to Vietnam and Cambodia, called the CVK service.

“In light of the strong cargo volumes in the area of China, Vietnam, and Cambodia, Yang Ming is pleased to announce the launch of the CVK service with effect from 21 October,” said the press release.

In order to strengthen its comprehensive global service, the company is extending its route from China’s port to Da Nang in Vietnam and to Sihanoukville in Cambodia. By having a shorter and direct shipping route, it will improve the delivery service to be faster and more efficient.

According to Khmer Times, Sin Chanthy, the president of the Cambodia Freight Forwarders Association said that the direct route will lower the cost of shipping.

Yang Ming Marine Transportation Co, also announced in its press release that it will compose other routes which include the cities of Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Sihanoukville and Hong Kong.
