The construction of the major bridge across the Mekong River Dei Edth-Thmor Kor connecting Dei Edth commune in Kien Svay district to Thmor Kor commune in Lvea Em district has reached a significant milestone. On the morning of February 11, 2026, Minister of Public Works and Transport Peng Ponea led a high-level technical team to inspect the progress of this essential infrastructure link in Kandal province. Official data from the ministry indicates that the project has now achieved an overall completion rate of 35.25 percent, marking steady advancement according to the planned schedule.

During the on-site evaluation, the Minister emphasized the critical importance of maintaining high technical quality and strict adherence to safety protocols throughout the construction process.
