Cambodia Approves 8 New Investment Projects Worth Over USD 74 Million

Cambodia continues to attract new investment, with eight additional projects approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on October 30, 2025. The projects, with a total investment capital exceeding USD 74 million, are expected to create approximately 4,400 new jobs.

The approvals were made during the CDC’s “Single Entry-Exit” meeting, chaired by H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary-General of the Cambodian Investment Committee, with participation from representatives of relevant ministries and institutions.

According to the CDC, the new projects cover one agro-industrial venture—focused on processing agricultural products and producing food—and seven industrial projects involving the manufacturing of: Testing and measuring instruments (electricity and temperature), Plastic-based pet supplies, Kitchen equipment, Secondary materials for automobiles and ships, Toys, Processed metal components for stoves and ovens

The eight investment projects are located in Phnom Penh, Takeo, Kampong Speu, and Kampong Chhnang provinces.

It is noteworthy that during the first nine months of 2025, the CDC registered 546 new investment projects with a combined capital of nearly USD 8 billion, creating potential employment for about 37,000 workers, according to a CDC press release issued on October 2, 2025.
