Chinese invests $ 4 million establishing new concrete production company in Sihanoukville

CAILI ROAD ENGINEERING (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. a company building a paved road with an investment budget of about 30 million yuan or about US$ 4,235,196.00 was officially opened on the morning of March 29, 2020, presided over by HE Kouch Chamroeun, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province.

The company main office is located in Preah Sihanouk province which has become more potential for attracting more foreign investors. Given such a potential growth, especially in real estate sector and construction material demand in the province, the company is established to provide a supply of all kinds of paved road materials to ensure the quality of construction is of high quality and reliable from customers in both in Sihanoukville as well as clients throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia, according to the company’s CEO.

In the opening ceremony, the company’s CEO said, “he is confident in the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia so he invests a lot of money into setting up the company so that, as an investor, he will contribute to the Royal Government’s mission by establishing a company and creating employment for a large number of citizens.”

In his cheerful statement to the above remark, HE Chamroeun during the opening ceremony said, “These are good partners between the investors and the Preah Sihanouk provincial government, although the world is currently facing an economic crisis due to Covid-19 pandemic, yet the company remains confident and joins the provincial administration in launching its company without hesitation“.

It should be reminded that Cambodia has five cement factories which are the raw material for the construction of concrete roads. The five factories also produce almost 8 million tonnes of cement a year.
