Completion of Land Surveying in Banteay Meanchey Province

In a significant step towards enhanced land management, the Ministry of Land Management proudly announced today the successful completion of land surveying across Banteay Meanchey Province. The ceremony was held under the distinguished chairmanship of HE Deputy Prime Minister Say Samal and HE Minister Dith Tina, Minister of Agriculture and the Head of the Royal Government Working Group on Land Surveying.

In conjunction with the completion of the land surveying initiative, the Ministry also distributed property ownership certificates to an impressive 6,355 citizens, marking a milestone in property rights recognition in the region.

During the event, HE Minister Dith Tina expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Land Management for its unwavering leadership and support, which has been instrumental in achieving this landmark accomplishment. He commended the provincial administration and local authorities for their diligent efforts in implementing the government’s vision to bolster land registration and resolve land-related issues for citizens, while also emphasizing the importance of preventing encroachment on public land.

As of June 23, 2025, Cambodia has made remarkable strides in land registration, with a total of 1,059 land parcels officially registered, encompassing an area of 1,763.43 hectares. Additionally, systematic land measurement nationwide has surpassed an impressive 13 million land parcels. (Read more and more)
