Revolutionising Waste Management: Four Companies Introduce Cutting-Edge Garbage-to-Fuel Machines in Siem Reap

In a groundbreaking initiative, GAEA, in collaboration with SOKEN GROUP, ONE WORLD, and the CITY of KITAKYUSHU, together with the Siem Reap Tourism Club Association, have introduced cutting-edge waste-to-fuel recycling machines in Siem Reap. This innovative endeavor is set to make a significant impact on waste management in the region, promoting efficient and eco-friendly solutions.

The unveiling of these state-of-the-art machines garnered the attention of notable figures, including Mr Pin Prak, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap, HE Jacques Pellet, Ambassador of France to Cambodia, and Mr Masaki Kawaguchi, Head of the Japanese Consulate in Siem Reap. The event was also attended by key authorities, prominent companies, and distinguished international guests.

Mr Pin Prak expressed the significance of these modern machines, highlighting their role in enhancing waste management by reducing waste and converting it into fuel through advanced heat-activated filtration systems.

“In alignment with the concept of a ‘smart city,’ we can harness this technology to protect the environment and manage waste efficiently. This cutting-edge machinery utilizes high-temperature vaporization to convert mixed materials, including resin and mud, into a valuable source of fuel,” he stated.

He further emphasized that the reclaimed fuel serves as renewable energy and boiler fuel for URBAN RIG and high-temperature steam engines. This groundbreaking waste recycling technology not only benefits the environment but also contributes to the national economy.

One remarkable feature of the URBAN RIG engine is its ability to significantly reduce resin-based mixed waste. Additionally, it autonomously sorts waste, ensuring minimal emissions of toxic substances and effectively controlling odors, thus resolving secondary pollution concerns associated with waste management, mixed resin disposal, and waste refinement through recycling.

This initiative represents a significant leap towards environmentally responsible waste management in Siem Reap. As the province embraces these cutting-edge machines, it is taking a substantial step towards cleaner, more sustainable waste disposal practices that benefit both the environment and the community.
