Government Cuts 6 hectares of Land from Ta Mok Lake to Private Owner

The Royal Government of Cambodia has reclassified 6.1 hectares of land on Ta Mok Lake from public property to state private property.

According to the recently circulated sub-decree dated 16 February 2022, an area of ​​61,836 square metres in Ponhea Pon commune, Prek Pnov district has been reclassified and handed over to the private owner under the Ta Mok Lake Reclassification.

The subdivided area of ​​6 hectares was donated to a private owner named Mr Seng Yu An.

According to the report by Sahmakum Teang Tnaut (STT) on 10 February 2022, as of December 2021, more than 2,000 hectares of the Tamouk lake development area have been sub-divided by the government and handed over to companies, institutions, and other individuals.
