Ground Broken on 8-Road Renovation Project in Kep Province

Kep Governor HE Som Piseth broke ground on the morning of 23 December on the construction of one red gravel road and 7 DBST roads with a total of length of over 3000 metres.

HE Som Piseth said that the rehabilitation of the roads is a new achievement in provincial infrastructure development. Upon completion, these routes will help ease the travel of both locals and tourists.

He also requested the citizens to cooperate with the construction team, especially for those who might be impacted by the project.

Kep is one of the high potential provinces which has been attracting many development projects. For instance, the Kep provincial administration has recently revealed plans to build a new tourism seaport on Koh Tonsay Island and also to create two new beaches. (Read more and more)
