L.Y.P. Invests Usd10 Million in Sen Sok Convention and Exhibition Centre

Sen Sok Convention and Exhibition Center

L.Y.P group is scheduled to finish the construction and open a new Convention and Exhibition Centre by the end of this year in Sen Sok district following the popularity of similar facilities on Diamond Island.

Located in front of Aeon Mall II, this convention and exhibition centre is being built on more than five hectares of land with a total of seven halls, which can hold up to 500 tables or 5,000 guests, plus parking space for 1,200 cars and 700 motorbikes. For local use, it’s likely this facility will be rented out mostly for wedding events.

According to Project Manager Mean Samol, L.Y.P. decided to invest USD10 million in this project because they have seen the high potential of Sen Sok area.

“Sen Sok is surrounded by housing as well as many other mega projects. A lot of high-income people are living the area. We have seen the demand of these people, which led us to open up this centre. We expect good feedback after we open the centre for service,” he said.

“Sen Sok is also a good location. Before, the Convention Center in Koh Pich is a popular one. However, it is quite far for those who live in Sen Sok, Pou Senchey, Russey Keo District. With this new center, now everyone can easily access,” he added.

Construction on the project has been underway for about a year already, and is scheduled to finish by July and will be available to rent service from November.
