PP-SHV Expressway Company announces to charge the full toll rates from Nov 1 onwards

The Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Company has announced that it will begin charging the full toll rates starting November 1, 2024. The previously offered 20% discount will end at 00:00 on October 31, 2024. This information was confirmed in the company’s announcement dated October 31, 2024.

The expressway company will continue to provide free Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) devices to the public. To obtain an ETC device, users need to top up a USD20 account. Requests for the ETC devices can be made at administrative buildings located at all entrances to the expressway, as well as at designated delivery centres. The ETC service is available on the right-hand side of both the Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville payment booths.

Importantly, transport companies that have signed a memorandum of understanding will not be affected by these changes and will continue to receive the same discounts previously agreed upon with the expressway company.

It is worth mentioning that during the trial period from October 1, 2022, to October 31, 2022, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway Company did not charge any travel fees for all vehicle types.

To show appreciation for customers and society, the company extended the 20% discount for ETC and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) users until October 31, 2024. This gesture aims to thank its supporters and promote economic growth and improvements in the transportation sector in Cambodia. (Read more)
