Over the years, the zone’s import and export volume has experienced remarkable growth, surging from US$139 million in 2013 to nearly US$2.5 billion in 2022. This impressive expansion has not only bolstered the national economy but has also solidified Sihanoukville’s position as a thriving trade hub.

The SSEZ management expressed their commitment to aligning with Cambodia’s economic goals, emphasizing their strategic approach of attracting both dynamic and industrial enterprises. “For the past 10 years, Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone has adhered to the combination of building, development and structure of Cambodia’s economic development, striving to attract active and industrial enterprises with original industrial enterprises, attracting large-scale enterprises, which relies on port resources and support industries in the production chain to enhance regional industrial competitiveness,” according to the SSEZ management.
